Dyaporama - Art Slideshow Event

Hey, I'm still keeping busy, having Tokyo life at the same time. Today, I'm gonna talk about the event called "Dyaporama". I met cool French designer, Alexandre, at the after party of the Graphic Passport. And he invided me to contribute his design and art slideshow even, which will be held next Saturday night, December 4th at Shibuya Li-Po. This time, theme is "BEHIND THE PATH OF MADNESS" so I sent him some of my quirky, maybe bit disgusting works which I created few years ago. (and some new experimental worls as well.) Images below are some works for the show. If you are interested in, lets go and have some beer, and talk about artsy things. It will be cool weekend then ;P By the way, recently I re-started, using twitter. If you love me, (and if you are drop-dead gorgeous,) please follow me. haha

------------------------------

This yer, my latest info-graphic work, "Japan - The Strange Country" is selected by
onedotzero film festival in London. And it"ll starts, TOMORROW! But, of course I'm not able to go there.... it's way to far, and too busy at this morment.... hmmm. It's Sad!

But, well, selected by onedotzero is such a big thing, and that makes me really happy already. It's so unbelievable that my thesis work will be presented with other big name design companies' works, such as W+K and Wow. It's such a great honor for me, as a designer ; )

And because of that, I re-created my new website (still in progress..) and because of that, having sleepless nights... haha
It's really simple one, created with CMS,but if you are interested in, please check out from the link below.

Rubber Stamp

Recently I ordered my personal logo stamp, and it came up pretty well! Ordering rubber stamp was first time for me, and it's so fun to use it! I could have chosen plastic handle, but I think choosing wood was better idea. I really love feels of it. It's bit tough to use, if I'm using cheap stamp pad, but works well with expensive stamp pad. haha.

It is also fun to scan and modify image using Photoshop. It allows me to change colors, and roughness is adjustable. Seems like it's a lot more useful than I thought. Upper side is also laser cut, and it looks nice as well! It's cheaper than I expected, (less than 3,000yen) so if you are loving-hand-made-artist living in Japan, and able to speak Japanese and looking for the company which makes original stamp, maybe this one is for you. http://www.junc.com/rubber/stamp.shtml I think I'll make another one sometime soon!
